There is something so incredibly powerful about what happens when people share their most vulnerable, human moments. The Haben's shared their experience of bringing Pascal Jude into the world in beautiful honesty. I have not seen a more moving piece piece in a long time. Thank you so much, Max & Aubrey for the witness that you shared with us. You guys are amazing. What a testament to love, marriage, and life.
My first born son Pascal Jude Haben was born on November 3rd, 2016. I documented the time leading up to labor and interviewed my wife Aubry about what motherhood meant to her. We had a couple complications arise including Aubry being diagnosed with a rare condition disease that required the doctors to induce labor and attempt to get little Pascal out of the womb 3 weeks early. Ultimately Pascal was born by C Section after an exhausting 24 hours of uncertainty. We are thankful that baby boy and momma are now recovered and %100 healthy. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience of midwifery care at the hospital and the unbelievable support of our doula Ursula who was by our side for every minute. Fatherhood is by far the most powerful thing I've ever experienced. I'm in awe of my wife who was so courageous and graceful throughout the entire pregnancy. This is dedicated to our family members back home in Minnesota who couldn't be near us during this time.
